This custom ketubah was designed together with the customer. The sky-like background and text are on one sheet of paper, and the columns and flowers are first painted, then cut in one piece from another sheet of paper and laid over the first one. Ahavah, meaning love, is in the scroll on the arch. The enlarged word under the arch is the first word of the ketubah text. Peggy often uses papercutting as part of her ketubah designs. A Sephardic style of lettering was used here in a traditional text, with an English text in Italic lettering.
