Memorial Hall, Shelburne Falls I enjoy making old looking treatments of contemporary scenes. A hundred years ago, many photographers working in black and white would add sepia toning to the photograph and then hand paint details in color. Today's technique is the reverse. The photograph was shot in color, the elements to be "painted" are masked out, and the remainder of the scene is converted to black and white and then sepia toned. |
